How to win back a deal that went quiet

Most lost deals were never rejected — they went quiet. A short, specific message can restart the conversation.

Quiet is not the same as no

Buyers go silent for ordinary reasons: a busy quarter, a new priority, a colleague on leave. Treating silence as a final answer leaves revenue on the table.

Lead with something new

"Just checking in" asks the buyer to do the work. Instead, reference what they told you and add something useful: a relevant change, a shorter option, or a direct question about timing.

Make it easy to say no

Offer a clear way out: "If this isn't a priority anymore, just tell me and I'll close the file." A clear no is better than months of guessing, and many buyers reply simply because the question is easy to answer.

Find the deals worth reviving

Look for open deals past their close date, or with no next step for three weeks or more. Start with the highest-value ones.

RevenueRobotics' win-back agent finds those deals on your dashboard and drafts a message for each one.
