What is a sales pipeline?
A sales pipeline is the list of every open deal, grouped by stage, so you can see what's likely to close, when, and what to do next on each one.
How to use this sales pipeline template
- Download the CSV and open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Add one row per deal — never leave Next step empty.
- Multiply value by probability to get your weighted forecast.
- Review every Monday: move stages, update close dates, chase deals without a next step.
When to move from a spreadsheet to a CRM
This template uses the same columns RevenueRobotics imports automatically, so you can upload it as-is when you're ready.
- You have more than ~20 open deals.
- Deals go quiet because nobody is reminded to follow up.
- You want forecasts, deal scoring and follow-up drafts without manual formulas.
