How to plan a move from Attio to RevenueRobotics

Plan a careful CRM switch: export and back up your data, map fields, test a small import, and check records before moving your team.

Why this matters

Changing CRM is easier when you separate two jobs: moving your records and changing your team’s day-to-day process.

Do not start by importing everything you can export. Start by deciding what your team needs to keep using.

Identify your essential records

List the companies, people, active deals, owners, stages, and custom fields required to continue selling. Identify any other information—such as notes, attachments, tasks, or historical activity—that your team relies on.

Check what is available in your export and what RevenueRobotics can import. Do not assume every kind of record transfers through a CSV.

Back up before making changes

Keep an untouched copy of the export. Work from a separate file when cleaning names, fields, dates, or duplicates.

Map fields deliberately

A column called “Status” might describe a company in one system and a deal in another. Review field matches before import, particularly for stages, owners, values, currencies, and dates.

Test an awkward sample

Include a duplicate contact, a company with more than one person, an open deal, and a record with a missing field. Import the sample and inspect it in the destination CRM.

Move the team only when the workflow works

Confirm that people can find their active deals, understand the next action, and review their pipeline. A successful import is not the same thing as a successful switch.

RevenueRobotics supports CSV import with a preview, duplicate checks for people and companies, and a summary of created, updated, and skipped rows.
